We operate our mothership trips from Mid May – December fishing the Mini Mini System in Western Arnhemland.
Depending on availability we use several mothership all provide a comfortable base for your remote fishing adventure. More details of the mothership can be supplied on request.
A mothership charter is all about getting away from the crowds and fishing remote areas that are not easily accessed.
You will be fishing the pristine waters of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory, you’ll be targeting a huge variety of fish including Barramundi, Black Jewfish, Threadfin Salmon, Blue Salmon, Mangrove Jacks, Golden Snapper, Queenfish, Giant Trevally and Golden Trevally to name a few. You’ll be fishing the Mini Mini river system, the Iwalg Creek and Ilamaryi River, as well as all systems in between.
We can either drive you in and out of the fishing locations to rendezvous with the mothership or why not take up the option of a seaplane flight.
Breakfast & dinners are held aboard the mothership, prepared for you with plenty of fresh fish and mudcrabs. Lunches are provided during the days fishing along with cool drinks and water. Please inform us of any dietary requirements and we will be happy to tailor meals to suit.
Alcohol is not included, however we are happy for you to preorder your requirements (at your own expense) and we will ensure that it is all on ice aboard the mothership, waiting for you to celebrate your catch!
Most charters are 7 days/6 nights, although this may vary as trips are tide dependant. Each trip requires approximately a half day travel there and back, so a trip spanning 7 days/6 nights gives you 5 full days on the water, plus a half days travel each way.
Shorter trips of 3 days fishing are also available.
